You may find yourself people-watching whilst enjoying a relaxing drink in one of the pavement cafés on Edinburgh’s historic Royal Mile, strolling through the floral splendour of the public parks in the granite city of Aberdeen, Nessie-spotting on a boat trip from the Highlands capital Inverness, meandering round the rampart walks of the magnificent Stirling Castle, exploring the culture and customs of times gone by in the many free museums in the great Victorian city of Glasgow.
