The South West of Ireland
Luxury Golf Packages Ireland - The South West
There is much to recommend this corner of Ireland - a pleasant climate, interesting towns, plenty to see and do, all set amidst magnificent scenery. Few can fail to be impressed on a drive, round the magical Ring of Kerry, worth the trip for the views alone, though the golfer will be doubly blessed if playing a round over the links at Waterville, and those playing Lahinch should take time to stop and admire the vista from the mighty cliffs of Moher.
For the golfer, no overview of the great courses would be complete without mention of the mighty links at Ballybunion, where the Old course has brought well-served fame to this pleasant little seaside town. Also close at hand are Tralee (designed by Arnold Palmer) and the charming courses at Killarney, set amidst mountains and lakes, whilst Old Head at Kinsale is a new course rapidly gaining an excellent reputation.
