Sample Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive Gatwick/Heathrow airport. Collect hire car and transfer north east. Overnight Sandwich - Guest House/Tourist Class or Ashford - Superior First.

Day 2 - Play Royal St George's, in many ways England's premier links and the first course to stage an Open outside Scotland in 1894. Overnight Sandwich or Ashford.

Day 3 - Play Royal Cinque Ports, a classic links course where the greens have an excellent reputation. Host to the Open in 1909 and 1920. Overnight Sandwich or Ashford.

Day 4 - Transfer west playing Walton Heath along the way. This course boasts two magnificent heathland courses and has been host to the Ryder Cup and five European Opens. Overnight Ascot - Guest House/Tourist Class and Superior First.

Day 5 - Play Sunningdale, not the first course built in Surrey's heath-and-heather belt, but the first great one. Overnight Ascot.

Day 6 - Play Royal Berkshire, privileged to have two courses (Red and Blue) of equal standing, with little to choose between them in difficulty or charm. Overnight Ascot.

Day 7 - Play St Georges Hill, a course which many rate as Harry Colt's finest. Where the Red and Blue course impresses is in the variety of the challenges it sets. Overnight Ascot.

Day 8 - Transfer the Gatwick/Heathrow. Return hire car and check in for return flight.
